For the last couple of years or so I have been shooting portraits of members of the fantastic Loose Tubes jazz band that was active from the late 80s until the early 90s with. a revival for the 30th anniversary in 2014. This picture above is of Julian Arguelles who was brought up near Birmingham. He is pictured in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The pictures are for a book about the band by Steve Bradley and I’ve now only got two or three portraits left to take – unfortunately those two or three now live abroad… Watch this space.
